Bio| The Basics |
Aquarius, The Water Bearer, is the eleventh house of the Zodiac and rules the circulatory system, shins, and ankles. Positive traits include brilliance, innovation, individuality, openness, social consciousness, inventiveness, practical skill, and self assertion; negative traits are eccentricity, lack of attachment to people and the "real world," over-intellectualizing of the emotions, a crotchety temper, rigidity, intellectual arrogance, and stubbornness. The stereotypical geeks of the magical world, Ravenclaw Aquarians are noted mostly for their genius. They are gifted theorists and inventors, and highly talented students. Most wind up doing pure research after graduating from Hogwarts. Their noses are always in books of esoteric lore. Some people may laugh at them, either for their unconventional lifestyles or (more commonly) because they are obvious nerds, but they don't care. While they can have sharp tempers, especially when they encounter ignorance or stupidity, these wizards generally mean well, and have a "live and let live" philosophy. Their wit is legendary; not everybody gets the Ravenclaw Aquarian's jokes, but those who are subtle and intelligent enough find conversation with an Aquarian Ravenclaw to be quite funny, in a satirical and ironic and irreverent sort of way. |

| A haughty, tempermental woman. Amaranta has little to no friends, despite often being asked to help with problems. While she is willing to listen and help people, she often sympathizes with the wrong sort and is quite blunt at times. Her few friends mean the world to her. |
| History |
| Youngest daughter in the Fawcett family of Ottery St. Catchpole, Amaranta did not show signs of magic until late into her toddler years. However, she did show signs of great intelligence. Before she had mastered reading she had learned to play chess better than her own father. Though, if you ask Amy, that does not account for much. Her intelligence made her curious about everything around her and she demanded an answer for everything. It was quite chaotic to her when she could not figure out why the doors kept opening when she wanted them to. Or how the dishes would always appear done just when her mother told her to do them. Of course, once she figured out she had magical powers she began to use them to get out of punishments. Amaranta grew up in Ottery St. Catchpole near the Lovegoods. A good friend of Charlotte and Allen, she wondered why they did the things they did. It drove her mad trying to explain that there was no such thing as snorfleflacks and that aliens did not visit Earth on a regular basis. Her annoyance with them only worsened as she grew older and she tried her best to avoid them both when she was admitted into Hogwarts. It did not help that she was sorted into Ravenclaw. After attending Hogwarts for a while, Amaranta quickly started studying others. Most took her for the silent, studious type, however she was really only observing their actions. She soon caught onto how the blood lineage worked and decided to take advantage of her heritage. When asked by others, she admitted to a pureblooded lineage. However, she left out that half her family were Squibs. During her time at Hogwarts she was often plagued by girls asking for relationship advice. Unfortunately, it made her quite jaded towards dealing with young children. It did not help when she was assigned work with other children. The only person around her age she tended to get along with at Hogwarts was Peter Pettigrew. She sympathized with him and found herself loathing his friends. When around him she became painfully awkward, despite occasionally finding the need to take charge. After leaving Hogwarts her relationship with Peter became more strained. Though she would try to spend time with him, he often seemed to be at a distance. When the oppurtunity to cheat came up, she did. The most often was with a young pureblooded wizard who had recently become a Death Eater who she met through her practise at work. |

Her schooltime sweetheart, she does care for him and makes it obvious by refusing to push herself upon him. Unfortunately, this meant their rifts grow bigger and she sees him very rarely. She is very protective of him and would give her life for him. |
